1. Description of Service

ComplianceOS is an AI-assisted compliance management platform that helps small business owners track regulatory requirements, manage deadlines, and organize compliance documents. The Service does not provide legal advice. Content generated by AI features is informational only and is not a substitute for qualified legal counsel.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to operate a business to use this Service. By accepting these Terms you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@mycomplianceos.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscription and Billing

The Pro plan is billed monthly at $39 per month. Your subscription renews automatically on the first day of each billing cycle. To avoid being charged for the next month, you must cancel before your renewal date. Upon cancellation your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. Your data is retained for 60 days after cancellation, after which it is permanently deleted. You may reactivate at any time within the 60-day retention window to restore full access.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service
• Use AI features to generate content intended to deceive regulators

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Cardiff Reef Ventures LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data and documents you upload to the Service.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Cardiff Reef Ventures LLC does not warrant that the Service is error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities. AI-generated compliance guidance is not legal advice. Always consult a qualified attorney for legal matters specific to your business.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardiff Reef Ventures LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid in the three months prior to the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
